The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Friday warned that former Rivers State Governor and African Democratic Congress, ADC, vice-presidential candidate Rotimi Amaechi might in finding it tough to marketing campaign in Rivers State.
Responding to a commentary through Amaechi during which he claimed that most effective thieves may just vote for President Bola Tinubu in 2027, Wike mentioned that if the previous governor persevered alongside that line, Rivers folks “won’t take it”.
Wike made the remarks in Abuja after a gathering with chairmen of the six space councils within the FCT.
“If he continues this line, it’s going to be tough for him to marketing campaign in Rivers. We can now not take that. If safety companies and INEC can fold their fingers, that’s their trade, however we will be able to now not permit it,” Wike mentioned.
