The Previous Grammarians Society, 1976/81 set of CMS Grammar Faculty, Lagos, will have a good time the fiftieth anniversary of its contributors’ admission into the distinguished college, based in 1859.
The celebrations will start within the night of October 8 with a meet and greet reception, and a discuss with to the college at midday on October 9.
On Saturday 10 October, contributors will revel in a sightseeing and leisure go back and forth to the historical town of Abeokuta.
The celebrations will culminate on Sunday, October 11, with a thanksgiving provider on the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos, adopted through a celebratory luncheon and fundraiser. The luncheon shall be chaired through retired Justice of the Best Courtroom, Bode Rhodes-Vivour.
Briefing reporters, the Chairman of the fiftieth Anniversary Celebrations Making plans Committee, Mr. Kayode Olu-Martins, defined that the anniversary gives a chance to have a good time enduring friendship and provides again to the college.
“This milestone is a chance to have a good time the college that nurtured us and assisted in shaping the boys we’ve got grow to be. Past the reunion, we wish to go away a long-lasting legacy that can get advantages generations of scholars,” he mentioned.
As its anniversary legacy venture, the set is elevating finances to sponsor one study room within the Tola Adebonojo ICT Construction, an initiative of OGS Americas. The development honours Professor Tola Adebonojo, grand patron of the Previous Grammarians Society within the Americas and UK/Europe.
Via this contribution, the 1976/81 set seeks to reinforce ICT training at CMS Grammar Faculty and make stronger the college’s custom of getting ready scholars for the longer term.
