The African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is not going to box applicants in Move River State’s 6 February 2027 governorship election.
This follows their omission from the overall checklist of cleared applicants launched via the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC).
The Information Company of Nigeria stories that the electoral frame launched the overall checklist on Saturday, with handiest 8 political events having applicants for the governorship election.
The events are the All Progressives Congress (APC), All Peoples Birthday celebration (APP), Allied Peoples Motion (APM), Nationwide Rescue Motion (NRM), Labour Birthday celebration (LP), Motion Alliance (AA), Motion Democratic Birthday celebration (ADP) and Peoples Democratic Birthday celebration (PDP).

Consistent with the checklist, Nya Bassey of the APP is the youngest governorship candidate, whilst Governor Bassey Otu of the APC and Ali Patrick of the AA are the oldest at 66 years every.
In the meantime, no fewer than 241 applicants had been cleared via INEC to contest 36 non-compulsory positions within the state within the 2027 common elections.
The positions include the governorship, Senate, Space of Representatives, and State Space of Meeting seats.
