A serving member representing Itas/Gadau Constituency within the Bauchi State Area of Meeting, Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Itas, has defected from the Allied Peoples Motion (APM) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) forward of the 2027 basic elections.
Abdullahi, who chairs the Area committee on petitions, introduced his defection all the way through plenary presided over by way of the Deputy Speaker, Jamilu Umaru Dahiru on Tuesday.
