Tragedy has struck the Catholic Archdiocese of Guayaquil, Ecuador, as a clergyman died after a crucifix fell on him.
The incident took place when the priest, Rev Fr Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, used to be celebrating the Holy Mass.
The priest used to be being live-streamed when the incident passed off.
“We announce that our cherished Fr. Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, CSsR., who served as parish priest of Our Woman of Perpetual Assist Church within the Central Vicariate, has departed for the Father’s Area to have a good time in His presence and glory.
“Everlasting relaxation grant unto him, O Lord. And let perpetual gentle shine upon him. Might he relaxation in peace. Amen,” the Archdiocese mentioned.
