A person and his son have died, whilst seven folks sustained accidents in a highway crash in Plateau State.
The twist of fate concerned a bus, a business tricycle and a saloon automobile in Sabon Barki, Jos South Native Govt House.
The crash befell at about 4:20 p.m. on Sunday alongside Bukuru Categorical Highway when the bus reportedly collided with the tricycle and the saloon automobile, inflicting the tricycle to catch fireplace.
The sufferers have been reportedly coming back from church when the crash befell.
The Public Family members Officer of the Federal Highway Protection Corps (FRSC) in Plateau State, Yakubu Longsan, stated two other people died on the scene after being trapped within the burning tricycle.
Mr Longsan attributed the crash to overspeeding and reckless using, including that the injured sufferers have been taken to the Plateau State Specialist Clinic’s orthopaedic facility, Porter’s Orthopaedic Clinic, in Jos, for remedy.
He stated the motive force of the bus fled the scene, including that efforts have been underway to track him.
A witness, Kefas Gyang, stated he arrived on the scene in a while after the crash and located other people suffering to rescue the occupants of the burning tricycle.

He stated the depth of the hearth made it tough for bystanders to rescue the ones trapped within.
Mr Gyang, on the other hand, clarified that he didn’t witness the collision.
He stated the deceased guy’s spouse sustained a damaged leg, whilst the couple’s different kid and the tricycle rider have been amongst the ones taken to medical institution for remedy.
The FRSC recommended motorists to keep away from overspeeding and reckless using and steered passengers to warning drivers every time they realize unhealthy using.
