The Kano State Multi-Company Process Drive on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking has arrested an alleged infamous gang chief, referred to as “Malam Keya,” in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Saying the arrest on Thursday, the Chairman of the Process Drive, Muhuyi Magaji, mentioned the suspect has been transferred to Kano to stand prosecution.
Consistent with Mr Magaji, the suspect fled the state after being declared sought after over violent gang clashes that claimed a number of lives.
“The Kano State Multi-Company Process Drive on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking has arrested Ishaq Lawan Ibrahim, popularly referred to as “Malam Keya”, a 27-year-old guy from Yelwa in Dala Native Govt House, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
