The Rivers State Police Command says the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, answerable for Abuloma Department and the divisional officer overseeing the Abuloma police outpost had been queried and relieved in their tasks over a viral video purporting that suspected cultists renovated the power.

Within the alleged video, the suspected cultists had been noticed on the facility to rejoice the crowning glory of the renovation.
Reacting, the command, in a remark issued on Friday by way of its spokesperson, ASP Agabe Blessing Kaborlo mentioned the improvement compromised the integrity, self-discipline {and professional} requirements of the Nigeria Police Drive.
The remark added that “underneath the management of CP Olugbenga A. Adepoju, psc, mnips, fcai, the Command maintains 0 tolerance for illegal activity and any behavior that undermines public self assurance within the Police.
“As a result, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) answerable for Abuloma Department and the Divisional Officer overseeing the affected Police Outpost had been queried and relieved in their tasks pending investigation.
“Moreover, the Commissioner of Police has ordered a complete investigation to ascertain the instances surrounding the incident and the veracity of the allegations”.
