Former Chairman of the Nationwide Human Rights Fee, NHRC, Professor Chidi Odinkalu, has criticised President Bola Tinubu and the Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani over safety preparations for his or her billboards amid continual lack of confidence within the state.
Odinkalu accused the governments of Tinubu and Sani of failing to dedicate enough consideration to protective citizens of Kaduna State.
The human rights attorney made the remarks in a put up on his X account on Friday.
“If the government of @officialABAT & @ubasanius spent as a lot power during the last 3 & a part yrs protective the folk of Kaduna State as they have got spent prior to now 3 & a part days to offer protection to the billboards of each males, they might have stored some huge cash on conducting the latter,” he wrote.
Atiku, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, puzzled the federal government’s priorities, arguing that the safety given to the billboards contrasted with the lack of confidence confronted through citizens.
“Bola, you declare Nigerians love you, but your billboards in Kaduna require safety guards. Bandits raid villages, terrorists assault communities, and households are living in concern,” Atiku wrote.
