Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has mocked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the deployment of safety operatives to give protection to his marketing campaign billboards and posters in Kaduna forward of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 presidential marketing campaign flag-off.
Atiku criticised the association, wondering why marketing campaign fabrics belonging to a president who claims to experience popular public give a boost to require safety coverage whilst hundreds of thousands of Nigerians proceed to stand lack of confidence.
In a submit on Fb on Friday, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate accused the Tinubu management of out of place priorities, contrasting the security given to the president’s marketing campaign fabrics with the plight of communities suffering from banditry, terrorism and different violent assaults.
“Bola, you declare Nigerians love you, but your billboards in Kaduna require safety guards. Bandits raid villages, terrorists assault communities, and households are living in worry,” Atiku wrote.
He added that the security given to the billboards was once past what many Nigerians may just be expecting for their very own protection.
“Your posters experience coverage that hundreds of thousands of Nigerians can best dream of. What a sad observation of your govt’s priorities. Bola, please give protection to Nigerians with the similar urgency you give protection to your symbol!” he stated.
