It’s with a heavy center that I lengthen my condolences to the Uduaghan circle of relatives, the federal government, and the folk of Delta State at the passing of former Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, at 71.
Dr Uduaghan used to be a public servant whose management used to be dedicated to Delta State’s building and repair to our country.
He served as Commissioner for Well being, Secretary to the State Executive and used to be elected Governor of Delta State in 2007. His two-term tenure, which resulted in 2015, positioned him on the centre of the state’s political and developmental adventure.
Throughout this era, he pursued developmental strides to reinforce infrastructure, healthcare supply, and the full welfare of Deltans.
After his tenure as governor, Dr Uduaghan persevered to characteristic prominently in Delta State’s political and socio-economic panorama, contributing to the sustenance of democratic governance and the development of public carrier in Nigeria. His passing is a smart loss to his circle of relatives, his neighborhood, Delta State, and the country at massive.
At this tough time, I beg the folk of Delta State to attract power from the overdue governor’s years of carrier and the iconic relationships he constructed around the political and social terrain of our nation.
On behalf of my circle of relatives, the Executive, and the folk of Nigeria, I lengthen my private sympathies to his spouse, Roli; his youngsters; his cousin, former Governor James Ibori; and buddies and political friends whose lives he impacted.
Might Almighty God grant his soul everlasting leisure and luxury all who mourn him.
