An aide to Kebbi State governor, Nasir Idris on cemetery affairs, ATM Jega, has threatened to stop former Legal professional-Normal of the Federation Abubakar Malami from getting into the state over the alleged destruction of political billboards.
Jega issued the risk whilst reacting to allegations that some people have been disposing of billboards in several portions of Kebbi State.
He prompt Malami, the African Democratic Congress, ADC, governorship candidate in Kebbi, to warning the ones he described as his supporters towards the alleged vandalism.
“We can save you Abubakar Malami from getting into Kebbi State if he does now not prevent his boys from tearing down our billboards,” Jega was once quoted as pronouncing.
Jega warned that he would take motion if the alleged destruction persevered.
The advance comes as political actions collect momentum in Kebbi forward of the 2027 basic elections.
